Another celebrity’s mum is making waves for her youthful looks. And this time mama is almost a century old.

Chang Hsiao Yen’s 95-year-old mum found herself in the spotlight when the veteran Taiwanese host shared a photo of the two of them on the first day of Chinese New Year.

“My mum (the Mama Chang who wows everyone) and I wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year. My mum's 95 and is still as elegant as ever,” wrote Hsiao Yen, 72, on Feb 12.

Netizens couldn’t help but agree and praised Mama Chang for how youthful she looks.

“Your mother looks like she’s 70 years old, while you look 50,” said one netizen, while another wrote: “Mama Chang looks so young.”

This is not the first time Mama Chang has stolen the limelight with her youthful appearance.

In 2019, the nonagenarian stunned netizens when Hsiao Yen invited Mama Chang on stage when accepting her Lifetime Achievement Award at the Golden Bell Awards.

At the time, netizens remarked that the pair are “practically sisters .

    She doesn’t just look youthful, she is sprightly too. Hsiao Yen attributes her mum’s age-defying looks to her optimistic personality and active lifestyle.

    She fills her days with activities like ballroom dancing and mahjong, and is “very energetic”, revealed Hsiao Yen.

    Mama Chang, who comes from an aristocratic family in Shanghai, is just as comfortable in the spotlight as her daughter.

    In 1998, she made it to Taiwan Vogue’s Best Dressed list, and when she turned 90, Hsiao Yen threw her a birthday banquet where she walked the red carpet with​​​​​​​ Nicky Wu, Alec Su, Harlem Yu, and Kai Ko, and even danced for her guests.
